Description:

-Performing civil engineering work in water, wastewater treatment, stormwater, and conveyance infrastructure, focused on site design project components including site layout, yard piping, roadways, paving and grading, and stormwater infrastructure

-Conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, overseeing fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and report preparation

-Hydraulic calculations and/or modeling

-Permitting and alternative analysis

-Assist with coordinating sub-consultant work

-Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables

-Review contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction

-Provide engineering services during construction

-Participate in field activities and site reconnaissance

Skills:

Civil engineering, Grading, Drainage, EIT, Autocad Civil 3d, Site development, Professional Engineer (PE), Stormwater, hydraulic modeling, GIS

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Best Candidate has previous experience working on waste water treatment facility layout and development is a big plus. Will look at EITs but PE is preferred. Best Candidate has familiarity with GIS and hydraulic modeling software.

Experience Level:

5-8 years of experience
